Organising of the atypical Festival in co-operation with printed and electronic media is aimed at cherishing and affirming contemporary music creative work in the spirit of Vojvodina tradition and true value, as well as to connecting with Europe and the world. Golden Tamburica Festival – the selection of the most beautiful new Vojvodina song promotes 18 new pieces in contemporary music expression selected at the competition and based on the invitation interpreted by popular vocal soloists of this genre. All the performers are accompanied by the Large Tamburica Orchestra. A review part of the Festival promotes new achievements in the field of tamburica music, with guest performances of popular musicians. The most successful authors and performers at Golden Tamburica are awarded traditional festival rewards.
